  • Wait...how does this work?
Dash For Dollars hosts races where you can win money by beating the other runners to the finish line. Some races may have different formats, but in general there are around 10 runners chasing the Race Director to the finish line. The finish line location is not known to the participants in advance, but is predetermined and then revealed during the race. Each racer must decide how they want to pace themselves in an attempt to maintain the lead yet conserve energy for that last push to the finish line.
  • Sounds...fun?
Definitely - since the finish line location is not known ahead of time, racers must think on their feet (literally!) and figure out the best way to maneuver the course in real time. There may be unforeseen changes (think double backs) or other obstacles that can quickly change the leader and order of the pack.
  • What distances are the races?
We host different event types with variable distances and slightly modified rules, but on average these races are approximately 2-3 miles give or take.
  • How long does an event last?
Plan for an hour or less, including check-in time, and payout (if you win). In order to keep on schedule, we suggest you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
  • Hell yeah, I'm in...when is the next race?
Sign up for our email list to be invited to races in your area. We fill up on a first come first served basis, so be on the lookout for our announcements. Usually races take place within a week or so after announcement and signup.
  • Why am I not getting emails about new race events?
